JYALUCEM 20 is an inorganic low temperature curing ceramic cement supplied in micro fine dry powder form, offers excellent bond strength, thermal shock resistance and hard surface properties after curing. Jyalucem 20 cement is found most ideal for high - low temperature cementing, sealing of ceramics, refractory, glass to metals etc.

Procedure to Prepare Cement Paste
Jyalucem 20 is a dry micro fine alumina based cement supplied as a dry powder. Take by wt. 80% Jyalucem powder and 20% by wt. clean tap water. Place Jyalucem powder in clean mixing container, add water to the powder, gradually and mix it slowly to form smooth uniform trowelable paste to tooth paste cosistency. Mixing may be done in a mixer at slow speed or by hand with spatula.

Method of Applying Cement Paste

Curing
Dry the cemented parts for around 90 minutes in air and keep them in heating oven, increase the temperature gradually to 200°C at the following rate given below and hold that temperature for 60 minutes.

Heating Schedule
Adjust the healing rate of the heating oven in such a way that 200° attained within 21/2 hrs. Initial heating rate should be slow to avod cracks.

Ambient Temo to 500 C 0.50 C Per Minute
500 C – 1000C 1.00C Per Minute
1000 C – 2000 C 2.00 C Per minute

Cool down the oven slowly to room temperature

Storing & Shelf Life
Jyalucem-20 powder should be stored in dry place at ambient (30-40 °C) temperature in tight sealed condition. Moist condition can effect the bonding strength & quality of cement powder. Shelf life expected 12 months.
Caution - use of excess water in mix will increase shrinkage and reduce mechanical strength. Also delays in curing. Failure of cement to adhere indicates cement is inactivated. Discard the cement. Do not attempt to retemper by adding more water.

Jyalucem adhesive cement-20 is a non hazardous material. (Jyalucem-20 is a non-hazardons material)
Packaging - jyalucem 20 cement is packed in air tight strong plastic containers quantity 1 kg, 5 kgs. And 25 kgs. Containers are re-packed in strong corrugated cartons, such cartons are packed in multiples in wooden crates.
