ZIRCONOX - The Wonder Ceramic Micro-Macro Milling Media Of 21st Century

Micro Beads
Macro Milling Media

Zirconox is a rare earth stabilized tetragonal Zirconia polycrystal ceramic.

Zirconox ceramic is a high density (6.20 gm/cc), sapphire hard milling media are cost effective for speedy milling, dispersion and micro fine milling of high viscous (15,000 to 50,000 CPS) hard and soft substances, with insignificant contamination from media wear.

ZIRCONOX

Zirconox milling media last around 160 times longer than glass, 8-9 times than ZTA, 6-8 times than Zirconium Silicate and 15 times than MgO stabilized Zirconia  milling beads.

Zirconox milling media are glossy, satin smooth in surface finish and comparitively nonabrasive due to their low coefficient of friction. Zirconox milling media are non-contaminative, non-toxic, non-radioactive, non-magnetic, chemically inert and resistant to all acids and alkalis except hydrofluoric acid.

Fraunhofer Institute, Freising, Germany has approved Zirconox milling media for milling of foodstuff in accordance with the regulations of the European Community. National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB) Great Britain has confirmed that the radio activity of Zirconox is within the regulations established by the European Community.
