FIXOWEL is a proprietary epoxy matrix, specially formulated to effectively bond ceramic wear resistant tiles to most surfaces like ferrous / non-ferrous metals, concrete, ceramics, plastics, wood etc.

FIXOWEL adhesive is the result of our extensive research and many years of experience in fabricating wear resistant lining systems.

FIXOWEL is thoroughly field-tested in most severe abrasive environmental conditions.

FIXOWEL epoxy adhesive matrix is simple to use, making repairs or installing ceramic tiles on surfaces very easy.

ADVANTAGES

FIXOWEL is also a most ideal binding material to line Ball Mill Shells speedily with ceramic lining blocks. Other binding cement compounds take longer time to cure, resulting in delay of putting the lined surfaces to operational use.

FIXOWEL adhesive and wear resistant ceramic tiles are used successfully to line Flat, Concave, Convex and complex surfaces of Hoppers, Chutes, Feed-boxes, Screen pans, Slurry tanks, Pulverize housings, Air-separators, Ash Lines, Flumes, Bins, Ducts, Conveyors and buckets, Coat Exhausters, Chip Cyclones and ID fan housings in the Coal, Power and Gravel, Grain, Mineral processing and Paper Industries.

Versatile Industrial Applications

PROCEDURE OF MIXING

  • To use FIXOWEL, take 100 g of FIXOWEL resin and add 25 g by weight of hardener, gradually mix well with spatula. When it forms a thick trowelable paste of toothpaste consistency, apply 1 mm thick layer of the paste to the surface to be lined as well to the back surface of the ceramic tile or block, then affix to the surface.
  • After placing the tile with adhesive coated surface, the tile surface should be tapped gently with wooden mallet or the end of spatula handle to ooze out the excess adhesive paste. This will ensure evenly lined tiles with no air pockets, for better adhesion.
  • Excess adhesive that oozes out should be immediately wiped clean from the surface of the tiles with cleaning solvents such as Xylene, Acetone etc.
  • To obtain best results, we recommend surfaces to be roughened just enough with sand paper, metal scraper or sand blast with S.A.1/2 grade sand blasting.
